There are days when the road home seems longer than it should, and you find yourself wishing for someone to simply walk beside you. Not to make everything better… Not to ask you to be brave... Just to be there.
You see her walking through the wildflowers one morning, close enough that you can see the softness in her eyes. A little white butterfly rests on her ear, while two tiny bees move from flower to flower, gathering what they need and carrying on with their important work.
Nothing in this meadow is rushing.
And for a moment, neither is she as she stands with you.
Maybe that is the kind of love we need sometimes… not the grand, sweeping kind, but the gentle kind that says:
You don’t have to figure everything out today.
You don’t have to walk alone.
I’ll stay beside you until you feel safe again.
