🦊 Walk through the forest, soak in the golden morning light, and peek between the trees, and you just might catch a glimpse of the woodland’s quiet guardian. Nestled among the wildflowers, a sweet little fox pauses in the warmth of the sun as beams of light dance across the forest floor.
This original mixed media oil painting, “Her Wild Woodland,” was inspired by the foxes that roam the forests near my home. Over the years, I’ve been delighted to spot them darting through the trees, raising their playful puppy-like kits, and disappearing like little flashes into the wildflowers. This painting captures that feeling of wonder and the moment you realize you are not alone in the woods, but sharing the beauty of the forest with one of its most enchanting inhabitants.
